versucht diesen entsprechend dieser Anleitung
ATI 200M fglrx driver How to (Debian Etch) - LinuxQuestions.org
auf meinem Debian "lenny" zu installieren.

Folge: Kaffeine schmiert wie beim 8.36.5 mitsamt dem X-Server ab sobald ich versuche DVB s-Fernsehen zu starten.

Neu eingeloggt, wieder zurück auf 8.35.5.

gelöst:

angebotenes Update auf xorg 1:7.2-3 durchgeführt.
Angebotene Updates von Debian auf ATI 8.37.6 durchgeführt.

Code:

 dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg

ausgeführt und als Treiber fglrx gewählt

Kaffeine gestartet -> Einstellungen -> Xine-Parameter
Video gewählt
driver auf xv eingestellt
ok

DVB läuft wieder
