Thema: USB WLAN unter Suse10.0 mit Philips CPWUA054

hallo leute! mein erster post hier und mir ist es richtig peinlich wieder so einen threat zu starten aber ich schlag mich seit ca8 stunden hier durchs forum und probier und tu und mach aber komm net zum ziel

zu meinem problem...
wie gesagt versuche ich seit rund 8 stunden meinen usb wlan adapter
Philips CPWUA054 unter suse 10.0 zum laufen zu bringen...

das enspricht also meinen wlan adapter...
also habe ndirwrapper problemlos installiert und im anschluss den winxp treiber zu dem ding ebenfalls problemlos instaliert. hat alles reibunglos geklappt.
treiber läuft anscheinend ndiswrapper -l und ndiswrapper -m zeigen alles an, wie sie sollen und wie es in den ganzen beschreibungen steht.

modprobe ndiswrapper hat auch einwandfrei gefunzzt.
(ihr müsst wissen ich bin ein echter linux noobie)
bis dahin is es alles blendent gelaufen.
jetzt zur wlan und schnittstellen konfiguration... hab keine verschlüsselung drin, mac filter on-> die mac adresse vom adapter is im router eingetragen.
die schnittstelle hab ich immer nur über yast eingestellt da ich mit den ganzen commandos einfach noch net so gut umgehn kann.
netzwerkname ist eingetragen, bei modulname steht ndiswrapper drin.
ip`s sind bei mir fest vergeben hab ich also auch entsprechend eingetragen:
ip: 192.168.2.8 subnet 255.255.255.0 gateway ist 192.168.2.1 und dns hab ich nichts und wieder nichts drüber gefunden weder in foren noch im yast
hab ich noch was ausschlagebendes vergessen zu nennen ? is immer so blöd linux booten,windows booten,linux booten,windows booten
wenn ja ich trags gern nach.
aber eigentlich hab ich alles so gemacht wie hier und in anderen foren es beschrieben steht. nur leider leuchtet nichtmal die lampe am stick muss ich in irgendwie nochmal aktivieren oder so ? ich hab halt echt keine ahnung...
kann mir gut vorstellen dass es was ganz banales is wo ich falsch mach aber ich komm einfach nicht drauf. mir is noch aufgefallen wenn ich ifconfig eingebe kommt folgendes raus vielleicht sagt euch das was:

Hallo LNX-User,

schau mal vor dem Laden des ndiswrapper-Moduls in die dmesg-Ausgabe und hinterher und schau was dmesg zu dem ndiswrapper sagt, vielleicht lassen sich dort Fehlermeldungen finden. Da du erst das Modul entladen musst wie folgt vorgehen:

modprobe ndiswrapper

Die Änderungen mit ndiswrapper einmal bitte posten und dann am besten noch die Ausgabe des Scripts wie hier beschrieben.

edit: habe im moment das problem dass ich die ausgabedateien von linux nicht in windows herbekomm. erstell mal eine fat partition mit der müsste der dateiaustausch doch klappen oder? poste anschliesend gleich die ergebnisse

Du glaubst doch nicht, daß ich mir dort den Kram runterlade?

1. Du solltest nur die UNTERSCHIEDE posten, das sind maximal 20-30 Zeilen CODE.

2. So was kann man auch als Anhang drankleben (Büroklammer oben "Anhänge verwalten").

3. Es gibt auch NOPASTE-Services um Code zu posten.

Dann hats ja wohl doch "gefunzt", oder was meinst Du damit? Es kommt keine Meldung nach rmmod? Das ist normal.

Der Befehl heißt rmmod, also mit 2 m.
Desweiteren war die Idee sich die dmesg-Ausgabe einmal ohne geladene Modulen und einmal mit anzuschauen, dass du nur die Änderungen posten musst.

Die beiden Files, die du bei rapidshare hast sind allerdings identisch und wenn ich das richtig sehe beides mal ohne geladenes ndiswrapper-Modul.

Versuche das ganze bitte nochmal und am besten nur die Änderungen nach dem modprobe ndiswrapper (schätzungsweiseca. die letzten 20 Zeilen), dann kannst du auch posten.

1. Du hast doch in Yast die Netzwerkkarte eingerichtet, oder?

==> Schau Dir mal die Optionen an, klicke Dich mal durch alle Menüs durch und lies links die Hilfen sorgfältig, dann wirst Du es auch finden.

Ich könnte Dir das auch direkt sagen, aber davon hast Du weniger, als wenn Du es selbst suchst, Dich dadurch mit Yast vertraut machst und die Hilfen liest.

2. Ndiswrapper ist wohl der von der CD/DVD (Version 1.2). Das kann funktionieren, aber im Notfall wirst Du einen neueren selbst installieren müssen.

Allerdings solltest Du zunächst mal die Karte richtig selbst einrichten.

Zur Steuerung der Karte sollte dann "Kinternet" dienen.
