Thema: WLAN Probleme ndiswrapper & Broadcom UART4310 HP Pavillion 6011 SuSE 10.0 (64 Bit)

Hi,

ich habe ein HP Pavillion6011 AMD64 Notebook mit integrierter Broadcom Wlan-Karte unter Suse 10.0 x86_64 mit Kernel 2.6.13-15.12-smp laufen. Suse will die Wlan-Karte aber nicht erkennen.

bis jetzt habe ich die sache mit ndiswrapper 1.2 und bmcwl5 - 64bit Treibern installiert und in Yast konfiguriert, aber leider wird die karte trotzdem nicht erkannt.

HP6011:~ # ndiswrapper -l bringt zwar
installed drivers: bcmwl5 driver installed, hardware (14E4:4324) present

und

HP6011:~ # lspci bringt

aber

HP6011:~ # iwconfig bringt

Irgendetwas hakt. Hängt es evtl mit der firewall zusammen?
Unterschiedliche Gerätezuweisungen 14E4:4324 und 03:00.0 ?
Kann mir jemad weiter helfen ?

Hilfe,

bin fast schon verzweifelt, da suse die Wlan-Karte nicht erkennen will. Da ndiswrapper geladen wird , scheint es mir so, dass irgendwie die Sache aber nicht richtig im System weitergegeben wird. Zwar kann ich das Wlan in Yast konfigurieren, aber KInternet zeigt die Schnittstelle dann nicht zur Auswahl.

Ich würde mich über weitere Tipps freuen.

Lies Dir mal ein paar WLAN-Threads hier durch, dann weisst Du, warum man Dir so schlecht helfen kann.

Ohne detaillierte Infos (in Form von Shellausgaben der "üblichen" Befehle), wird das nichts.

Mehr Input ==> Mehr Output.

Das Script von framp (Thread: Kleines Script ==> Grosse Hilfe) wäre ein guter Startpunkt.

Schon der Titel Deines Postings passt leider zur weiteren Informationspolitik, nichts Aussagekräftiges, am besten Du änderst das, beim Titel angefangen.

Hallo,

also nochmal die Bitte um Hilfe, mit mehr Input meinerseits, mein Wlan im HPpavilion6011-Notebook mit Broadcom-Wlan (UART4310) unter Suse 10.0 x86_64 zum Laufen zu kriegen.

Ich habe verschiedene bcmwl5-Treiber mit ndiswrapper vergeblich ausprobiert, auch den Original Windows-HP-Treiber. Im Moment habe ich den bcmwl5-Treiber von Planetamd64. Der wird von ndiswrapper auch geladen, 'ndiswrapper -l' meldet 'bcmwl5 driver installed, hardware (14E4:4324) present' und 'modprobe ndiswrapper' bringt keine Fehlermeldung. Ich nehme deshalb an, dass ich bis dahin alles richtig gemacht habe. Anschließend habe ich die Karte in Yast konfiguriert.

Allerdinsg funktioniert die Karte nicht. KInternet zeigt die Schnittstelle nicht an und KWiFi meldet 'Not Connected'.

Ins Internet komme ich derzeit nur über die EthernetKarte.

Zur weiteren Information nachfolgend der Inhalt des 'fram-scriptes', in der Hoffnung, dass daraus ersichtlich ist, was bei der Konfiguration schief gelaufen ist.

ich nehme gerne deine Tipss, Hinweise und Ratsachläge an und hoffe, dass es dir nicht zuviel ist, mir als Novizen im Forum nochmal weiterzuhelfen, denn eigentlich hatte ich gehofft bei mehr Input mehr Output zu kriegen nachdem ich das script gepostet habe.

Woran könnte der fehlende Output liegen?

Hallo Hansy,

hast du bei der Netzwerkkarte in Yast auch angegeben, dass die manuell oder bei Kabelanschluss aktiviert werden soll, und nicht bei Systemstart?

Weil wenn zwei Karten aktiv sind dann weiß das System nicht mit welcher es sich jetzt verbinden soll.

Ansonsten mal vor dem modprobe ndiswrapper und hinterher in der dmesg schauen. Also:
