Thema: (Gelöst) Kein Ton mit 5.1 System

Folgendes Prob.:
Da ich SuSe 10.2 besitzte konnte ich keine MP3s mit Kaffeine abspielen, HowTo gemacht nun kommt zu mindest keine Fehlermeldung mehr, aber hören tu ich auch nix. Ich habe ein 5.1 System, was ich aber in Kaffeine auch so eingestellt habe. Aber ich höre trotzdem nix. Deswegen hab ich folgende Fragen.

1) Wie überprüfe ich, ob überhaupt Sound geht?
2) Wie teste ich, ob MP3s gehen?
3) Wie teste ich, ob das 5.1 System richtig eingestellt ist?

1) Wie überprüfe ich, ob überhaupt Sound geht?

Etwa mit einem immer abspielbaren Format, etwa einer wav Datei.
Zusätzlich solltest Du Dich mit dem Mixerprogramm Deiner Wahl auseinandersetzten.

2) Wie teste ich, ob MP3s gehen?

Wenn 1) erfolgreich, dann einfach nen mp3 abspielen ?!?

Wie teste ich, ob das 5.1 System richtig eingestellt ist?

Vielleicht eine DVD mit 5.1 Sound gucken ... oder so.

Ok, Problem liegt wo schon an 1). Ich höre nix, nicht mal wenn ich eine *.wav abspiele.

Ok, dann solltest Du aber mal langsam aufhören so spärlich mit Deinen Infos zu sein.
Ging der Sound vor Deinem MP3-Versuch?

Gerade die "snd_via82xx" Module haben beim 2.6.18er Kernelzweig Probleme.

Bei beiden Beispielen kommt aber immer _irgendwas_ aus der Soundkarte, da vermute ich falsche Mixer Einstellungen.

@Tribunal89 Desweiteren könnte für dich interesant sein mal unter :

KMenü / Yast2 / Hardware / Sound dann unten rechts auf andere klicken : nach zusehen welche channels denn nun mit suond versorgt werden !

Nur für den Fall das du dieses noch nicht gemacht hast den deine Fragen :

1) Wie überprüfe ich, ob überhaupt Sound geht?
2) Wie teste ich, ob MP3s gehen?
3) Wie teste ich, ob das 5.1 System richtig eingestellt ist?

deuten irrgendwie darauf hin .

Denn dort stellt man den Sound der einzelnen Channel ein und man testet da auch ob es dann funzt .
Intersant werden für dich zb. die Cannel : Front , Rear .Center , PCM , Suround sein ggf Live

Dann in KMix mal schauen was mit Sound versorgt wird man achte auf die Regler !

Und vielleicht mal einen Hauptkanal auswählen .

Eine weitere möglichkeit den Sound einzustellen und zutesten findest du dann auch in den einstellungen von Amarok .

So, hab letzte Nacht noch bissel dran gebastelt. Und dank Yast2 hab ich es hinbekommen. Sound geht, mp3 kann ich aber nur in Kaffeine abspielen, bei RealPlayer und Amarok gehts nicht. Ich hab gestern ein Kaffeine update gemacht, kann es daran liegen? Ich würde lieber Amarok nutzen da Kaffeine immer automatisch alle MP3s laden will und das dauert bei mir sehr lange.
