Thema: (Gelöst) schwarzer Bildschirm beim Booten (openSUSE 10.2)

hallo!
also ich habe heute opensuse 10.2 neben windows xp auf meinen pc installiert.nun habe ich folgendes problem: wenn ich suse starten will lädt es und dann wird mein bildschirm schwarz und es passiert nichts mehr.ich habe die einstellungen schon in sax2 umgestellt und bin dann mit init 5 in die normale oberfläche gewechselt, es hat wunderbar funktioniert doch nach neustart des pcs war wider alles weg und der bildschirm war wieder schwarz.an was könnte das liegen?


das nächste ist dass ich keine verbindung zum internet habe ich habe einen fritz wlan stick und eine fritzbox,
wie kann ich ene verbindung herstellen?

Das ist ein ganz anderes Problem, daher bitte anderer Thread. Bevor Du jetzt aber parallel ein neues Thema startest, guck doch mal bei Google und hier im Forum nach Internetkonfiguration, wlan, etc... gibt bereits unzählige Themen dazu, hilft Dir bestimmt weiter - tipp: yast->Netzwerkgeräte->Netzwerk. Falls die anderen Themen nicht helfen, neuen Thread schreiben...
Gut, nun zur GraKa.
Was benutzt Du denn für eine? ATI, Nvidia? Hast Du versucht einen proprietären Treiber zu installieren? Wie sieht deine xorg.conf aus?
Welche Konsolenausgaben wichtig sind, findest Du hier: Users4Users
Aber davon ab, hast Du dich bei diesem Problem mal im Forum umgeschaut? Auch dazu gibt es bereits viele Themen. Hast schon irgendwas versucht?

als erstes gleich mal: ich hab keine ahnung von dem ganzen suse ich bin der völlige newbie.
ich hab bisjetzt halt mal probiert mit yast den monitor einzustellen, treiber hab ich nicht installiert ich habe eine nvidia 7300 gs. und was is xorg.config?
sorry aber ich hab da echt keine ahnung
wie gesagt ich war schonmal ganz normal mit grafischer oberfläche im suse "drin", indem ich eben den monitor eingestellt hab und dann "init 5" eingegeben habe, da hat es funktioniert

Ok, öffne eine Konsole und führe aus:

su
(Dein Root-Passwort)
init 3

Evtl. entfällt das, falls gar keine grafische Oberfläche startet.

Dort neu anmelden (etwa als root) und dann

Code:

sax2 -a

ausführen.
Mit

Code:

init 5

wieder X starten.

Ad: Fritz USB WLAN: Suchfunktion mit Ndiswrapper füttern.

OK, wollte keine Verwirrung stiften...

xorg.conf: Hier stehen alle Grafikeinstellungen drin. Treten Grafikfehler auf, hilft ein Blick in die Datei oft weiter. Falsche Einstellungen etc.
Zu finden unter /etc/X11/xorg.conf
Kannst öffnen, indem Du dich mit "su" als root anmeldest (in der Konsole) den Pfad angibst, also

cd /etc/X11

und die Datei xorg.conf öffnest, etwa so (gibt tausend Wege...)

konqueror xorg.conf

So wird die Datei im Browser geöffnet.

Also, wenn es nach Jackos Tipp funzt, nehme ich mal an, dass irgendwelche Einstellungen nicht gespeichert werden. Du speicherst deine Einstellungen doch, oder?
Hast Du dir sax2 auch unter der grafischen Oberfläche nochmal angeschaut, getestet, gespeichert?
Ich weiß, sind alles schwammige Tipps, aber Du schreibst ja auch nichts genaues... kann man halt nur wild raten.
Was Du auch machen könntest: Speichere Dir nach nem neuen Systemstart (wenn keine grafische Oberfläche automatisch erscheint) deine xorg.conf, etwa so (als root):

cp /etc/X11/xorg.conf /home/dein_Username/Desktop/xorg_test

Danach gehst Du Jackos Tipp durch, also Oberfläche starten und machst das gleiche unter KDE in der Konsole

cp /etc/X11/xorg.conf /home/dein_Username/Desktop/xorg_test2

Anschließend vergleichen und ggf hier posten.
Vielleicht sind ja wirklich Unterschiede erkennbar, bei denen man ansetzen könnte.
