Thema: (Gelöst) ATI Radeon XPRESS 200M, SuSE 10.0 Probleme mit ATI-Treiber 8.27.10

Meine Daten:
Distri: Suse 10.0, Kernel: 2.6.13-15.11, xorg: 6.8.2-100.6, Installer: ati-driver-installer-8.27.10-x86.run Gr.-Karte: ATI 200M

Ich habe meinen ati-treiber wie beschrieben installiert. (habe beide Varianten ausprobiert-> rpm und ati-installer-skript). Habe dann mittels aticonfig --initial ... oder sax2 -r -m 0=fglrx -b /usr/share/doc/packages/fglrx/sax2-profile die xorg.config verändert. Bis dahin funktionniert die Installation einwandfrei, keine Fehlermeldungen! Wenn ich dann Neustarte, bleibt der Bildschirm beim Start des X-Servers schwarz! Es kommt keine Fehlermeldung. Habe das Spielchen mit unterschiedlichen Auflösungen(1440x900, 800x600) probiert, was aber nichts änderte. Woran könnte es liegen??

Kuriosität: Als ich den Treiber mit dem Installer installiert habe(+xorg.config verändert), die ganze Zeit im init 5 war und dann nur den X-Server neugestartet habe, hat der Treiber funktioniert. Ich konnte fglx_gears und GL-117 starten. Allerdings kam es zu hässlichen Grafikfehlern.

2. fglrx-Modul habe ich jetzt nicht geladen, weil ich die alte xorg.conf hergestellt habe.
3. Modul ist aber vorhanden und lässt sich mit modprobe laden.

Das generierte Paket heißt: "fglrx_6_8_0_SUSE100-8.27.10-1.i386.rpm". Ich hab die 32Bit-Version von Linux.
Installer habe ich mit dem Befehl rpm -ihv fglrx_... aufgerufen.

Problem hat sich erledigt, habe zum Glück noch einen alten Treiber gehabt und mit dem funktioniert es wunderbar (ohne Grafikfehler)!!!!

Die bei mir funktionierende Version ist: "ati-driver-installer-8.22.5-i386.run". Bestimmt funktioniert auch noch eine aktuellere, aber ich habe keine Lust alle zu probieren !
