Thema: ACPI unter Linux installieren - Lüfter im Dauerbetrieb

Hi, ich hoffe mal das ist dafür das richtig Unterforum

Mein Problem ist, das bei meinem Laptop der Lüfter sich im Dauerbetrieb befindet.
Und dieser sich nicht ausschaltet oder ausschalten lässt.

Nun bin ich drauf gekommen ACPI zu installieren. Damit sollte man den Lüfter steuern können.

Das Modul habe ich auch schon gefunden.

Import the public Linux Kernel Archives Verification Key by:

Patch the kernel

$ cd <path to unpacked linux sources> (e.g. /usr/src/linux)
$ bunzip2 -c <path to acpi-patch>/acpi-<version>.diff.bz2 | patch -p1 OR
$ gunzip -c <path to acpi-patch>/acpi-<version>.diff.gz | patch -p1
Configure the kernel

If everything went smooth you can now configure the kernel to include the drivers with make menuconfig (or your preferred way to configure the beast). Then go to General Setup -> ACPI Support and tick the options you need.

Ich arbeite erst seit 4/5 Tagen mit Linux und diese Installation scheint mir wohl nicht für Anfänger geeignet.

Meine Frage ist, ob jemand weiß ob ich so was auch über SMart oder Yast installieren kann ?
Oder ob jemand sogar eine andere Möglichkeit kenn ?!

ACPI wird sehr wahrscheinlich schon installiert sein.

Dieses Verzeichnis sieht doch schonmal gut aus
Wenn ich "fan" benutze spuckt mir die Konsole das aus:

Das Problem gibt's bei dem Fujitsu Siemens Amilo M3438G (http://www.pc-forum24.de/musik-video...z-howto-2.html) anscheinend öfter, wie man hier nachlesen kann.

Vielleicht wäre ein Bios Update (falls vorhanden) eine Idee?

Wäre natürlich eine Idee, doch aufgrund von Risiken und Garantieansprüchen würde ich lieber den lauten Lüfter vorziehen als ein BIOS-Update durchzuführen.

Meine Idee war es, das ACPI MOdul neu zu installieren.

Ich hab auch noch ein wenig gegoogelt und bin auf APM gestoßen. Ich habe gelesen, dass wenn man Probleme mit ACPI hat, das man auf die alte Version APM zurückgreifen kann.

Es währe aber mal anzumerken das meines Wissens nicht jeder Lüfter Regel oder Steuerbar ist und wenn dem so ist nützt auch ACPI nichts oder liege ich da falsch ?
Denn wie soll ACPI einen Lüfter steuern oder regeln wenn ACPI diesen nicht als steuerbar erkennt ?
