(Gelöst) Suse 10.3 Update Repo einrichten

Hi Community,

ich weiss der Titel klingt einfach nur nach DAU - aber ich habe folgendes Problem.

Ich habe Suse 10.3 auf meinem Laptop erneut aufgesetzt und versucht das Update Repo einzurichten und mein System "upzudaten"......

Mit 0 Erfolg.....

Sowohl über YAST2 -> Online Update Configuration
als auch über YAST2 -> Software Repositories

bekomm ich unter YAST2 -> Online Update die Fehlermeldung "No active update source is available. Exit Online Update now?"........

Habe aber folgende Repo`s konfiguriert:
packman.iu-bremen.de/suse/10.3/
download.opensuse.org/update/10.3/

Das komisches ist, wenn ich "Online Update" anklicke verbindet sich YAST2 zu den oben angeführten Servern und melden dann aber "No active update source is available. Exit Online Update now?"

Bei der ersten Installation am hat alles noch einwandfrei funktioniert?!
Habe die Suchfunktion schon verwendet, sorry wenn es dennoch solch ein Thema schon gibt!

Das Problem hatte ich auch schon !
Lösung: das HauptUpdate Repo aktivieren !
( download.opensuse.org/update/10.3/ )

Geht bei der 10.3 am Einfachsten mit:
YAST - Community Repositories - Häkchen bei: Haupt-Update Repository
( danach aktualisiert sich erst der Updater selber und danach dann das System )

Ansonsten steht mir immer noch die Möglichkeit offen, mit dem Community-Repo und Main-update Repo......

Na dann ist ja alles in Butter.

Daß Du eben mit dem letzten Befehl ein _erfolgreiches_ Online-Update gefahren hast, ist Dir nicht aufgefallen, oder doch?

Aber die Liste der Quellen würde ich dann doch mal aufräumen, da ist sicher was doppelt.

Dass ich die repolist aktualisiert habe, habe ich vorher ebenso geschafft, nur mit der Fehlermeldung "No active update source is available. Exit Online Update now?" und 0 updates :-/....... Repoliste werde ich jetzt nochmals durchgehen!

Thx für den Tipp, mit den Community-Repo`s habe ich mich allerdings schon davor mit mäßig bis keinen Erfolg gespielt ;-)

Eine Dublette ist zumindest drin.

Da aber die Namen wenig über die URL aussagen, liegt die Dublette bei 3 oder 4, eines davon ist überflüssig.

Fragt sich nur, ob 3 = 4 oder 3 = 5 oder 4 = 5, das lässt sich aberleicht über YaST herausfinden.

Sollten z.B. zwei Online-Update Quellen vorhanden sein, dann kann sich das beissen und zu unangenehmen Effekten führen.

Keines, aber aus der vorigen Ausgabe war nicht ersichtlich, daß eines davon das WINE-Repository ist.

Und zum WINE-Repository:

Brauchst Du das wirklich?

Bedenke, es sind inoffizielle Pakete, wenn Du nicht unbedingt die neuste WINE-Version benötigst, dann weg damit.

Ausserdem sind es jetzt nur noch 5 Quellen und nicht 6 wie vorhin, also ist da wohl doch noch was "verschwunden".
