Atheros AR242x (AR 5007EG) unter openSUSE 11.1

hey, also habe hier ein notebook mit einer wlan karte mit chip atheros ar242. habe dazu auch schon die passenden windows treiber mit ndiswrapper installiert, dann gab es aber probleme mit dem system und ich musste es neu aufsetzen. jetzt bekomme ich die treiber leider nicht mehr drauf und weiß nich wieso, bzw ich habe die vermutung mit fehlt vlt ein paket. wenn ich ndiswrapper mit dem installer installieren will der das neuste paket runterläd und dann compiliert bekomme ich einen compilation fault, selbes problem wenn ich es manuel neucompiliere indem ich ins verzeichniss der datei wechsle und diese mit make erstelle. wenn ich die rpm packages von ndiswrapper installiere klappt dies zwar auch mit dem installieren des windows treibers, aber ich kann ihn dann per $ndiswrapper -m nicht mehr eintragen und bekomme den fehler "module configuration already contains alias directive", wenn ich jetzt allerdings modprobe ndiswrapper mache bekomme ich die meldung "FATAL: Module ndiswrapper not found"
depmod -a liefert gar keine meldungen

Zu deinem Problem: deine Informationen sind ein wenig dürftig und das was an Information da ist leider schlecht gegliedert, so dass es schwer zu lesen ist. Tipp: Code-Tags und Absätze.
Zum Beispiel wäre interessant zu wissen welches System du benutzt. Vermutlich SuSE, aber da gibt einige verschiedene Versionen. Fehlermeldungen immer im Wortlaut posten. Welche ndiswrapper-Version, ...
Allgemein lohnt es sich mal hier zu schauen, was man posten sollte um möglichst viele Informationen zu geben. Denn die Leute hier im Foren helfen zwar gerne, allerdings hat niemand Lust andauernd nach Informationen nachfragen zu müssen.

ok tut mir leid,

also ich habe ein laptop system MSI VR630, die wlan karte ist von ralink mit einem atheros ar242 chip, der erst ist ja nich so wichtig da mein system mit dem treiber ja schon einmal lief.

ich benutze suse version 11.1 und ndiswrapper 1.53. den rest siehe oben. habe im übrigen in der zwischenzeit einmal die ganze ndiswrapper geschichte runtergemacht alle dateien die i iwe drauf war, und das ganze nochmal installiert usw. habe dann den treiber nochmal installiert und mit

$ ndiswrapper -m

hinzugefügt
dann erscheint das ndiswrapper hinzugefügt wurde
wenn ich jetzt modprobe ndiswrapper mache bekomme ich aber wieder die meldung das das modul ndiswrapper nicht gefunden wurde.

wenn ich dann erneut

$ndiswrapper -m
eingebe bekomme ich natürlich wieder die nachricht
"module configuration already contains alias directive"

Langsam habe ich das Gefühl, hier will sich jemand einen Spaß erlauben.

Nein, Deine Soundkarte interessiert hier wirklich nicht, aber die noch etwa 95% der Angaben, die im Beitrag zu WLAN-Problemen zusätzlich zu den von Dir gemachten Aussagen stehen, _sind_ interessant und fehlen immer noch.

Das im selben Beitrag verlinkte Script von framp nimmt einem diese Arbeit sogar fast vollständig ab.

Zumindest würde durch die Bekanntgabe dieser Infos mal wenigsten klar werden ob deine Angaben zum Chip richtig und vollständig sind.

An dieser Aussage kann nämlich was nicht stimmen.
Ralink verbaut mit Sicherheit keine Chips der Konkurenz.

Der ar242x läuft definitiv mit dem ath5k aus dem Kernel 2.6.27. Getestet auf dem Notebook meiner Frau, zu finden in http://www.pc-forum24.de/suse-treiber/9272-aufruf-zum-test-der-respeced-pakete-besonders-wlan.html?highlight=respeced

Und Ralink-karten sollten den ndiswrapper auch nicht brauchen, falls doch der erste Teil der Aussage richtig wäre.

Du glaubst aber nicht wirklich daß wir uns jetzt hinsetzen und uns die Finger wund googlen um herauszufinden was für eine Karte bei dir verbaut ist?
Abgesehen davon daß sehr oft im gleichen Notebook-Modell Bauteile verschiedener Hersteller zum Einsatz kommen.
Zumal du dazu nur einen Befehl eingeben und dann die Ausgaben posten mußt bzw das script laufen lassen und dessen Ausgabefile posten.
Und was du letztendlich verkehrt gemacht hast lässt sich eben auch nur durch das Posten möglichst vollständiger Daten deinerseits sagen.

Den Link zu http://www.pc-forum24.de/sonstige/2976-users4users-poste-ich-bei-welchem-problem.html überhaupt gelesen? Speziell Beitrag 7 "Probleme mit wlan"? Warum kommst du nicht wenigsten mal dem Tipp nach dir Framps script runterzuladen, dir dort die Bedienungsanleitung durchzulesen und dann das Ausgabefile zu posten?
Hättest du das nach der ersten Anforderung von Benne schon gemacht wärst du schon längst per WLAN unterwegs.
Wenn du allerdings so weitermachst wirds noch Wochen dauern -falls die Geduld hier im Forum das so lange mitmacht.
Lies endlich die verlinkten Beiträge, arbeite sie ab und poste die Infos die gebraucht werden.

Und was du letztendlich verkehrt gemacht hast lässt sich eben auch nur durch das Posten möglichst vollständiger Daten deinerseits sagen.

Hättest du die Bedienungsanleitung auf framps Seite gelesen wärest du bestimmt auch über einen Satz wie "LAN-KAbel vor ausführen des scripts abziehen" oder "LAN deaktivieren" gestolpert und hättest dir die unnötigen Posts sparen können.
Daß deine LAN-Verbindung funktioniert ist uns bereits klar.
Also ließ doch bitte, bitte erst mal die mit vieler Mühe verfasste (Wofür eigentlich) Bedienungsanleitung des scripts durch und laß es erst dann durchlaufen.

Außerdem fehlt der Kopf der .txt - Datei und wenn ich mich nicht sehr irre standen doch dort ein zwei Warnungen oder gar Errors drin?

/etc/modprobe.d/ndiswrapper:alias wlan0 ndiswrapper

mit

rm -r /etc/modprobe.d/ndis*

noch die Übereste von ndiswrapper löschen.
