Hallo Rain_Maker,

erstmal möchte ich für die vielen guten Beiträge danken, die mir vor mehr als 6 Monaten geholfen haben auf mein IBM R60 Opensuse 10.3 zum Laufen zu bekommen. Seit kurzem habe ich mir einen Wireless-Stick WNDA3100 zu gelegt, doch nun bin ich langsam am Verzweifeln....
- Kernel ist 2.6.22.19
Die Onboard-Wirelesscard läuft mit ipw3945d-1.7.22-8.2 und auch mit wpa_supplicant-0.6.6-rm.0 und WPA2-PSK/AES super gut.
Für die Installation der Wireless-N-Sticks habe ich
arusb_lnx-kmp-default-git20081026_2.6.22.19_0.1-rm.0 installiert. Der Wireless-N Router läuft mit WPA2-PSK/AES, eine manuelle Verbindung mittels iwconfig kann ich herstellen und sehe auch im Router-GUI, dass der WLAN-Stick mit dem Router verbunden ist. Doch bekomme ich keine IP-Adresse, weder mittels ifup, noch mit dem KNetworkManager. Der KNetworkManager läuft bei mir übrigens mit ipw3945d und WPA2-PSK/AES ohne Probleme. Ich habe mir auch den Beitrag zur Konfiguration von wpa_supplicant.conf angeschaut und entsprechend /etc/sysconfig/network/scripts/ifup-wireless und /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf konfiguriert. Ich weis wirklich nicht woran es liegen soll, denn ohne WPA/WEP, d.h. ohne Verschlüsselung bekomme ich vom gleichen Router eine IP-Adresse und kann mit voller Bandbreite surfen. Da ich jedoch mit der Onboardkarte ipw3945d problemlos WPA2-PSK/AES einsetzen kann, denke ich nicht, dass es am Modul wpa_supplicant-0.6.6-rm.0 liegt. Und arusb_lnx-kmp-default-git20081026_2.6.22.19_0.1-rm.0 scheint ja ohne WPA/WEP auch problemlos zu funktionieren. Und die o.g. Dateien habe ich wie in deinen Beiträgen genannt konfiguriert. Kannst du mir weiterhelfen? Das wäre echt klasse, da ich hier schon tage- und nächtelang rumprobiere...

P.S. Wenn du noch mehr Daten benötigst, dann schreib kurz welche.
Die u.g. IP-Adresse von ath0 ist übrigens nicht die vom Router. Die Netzwerkkonfig wählt diese immer, wenn es keine IP-Adresse vom DHCP beziehen kann. Ein Router-Problem schliesse ich aus, da ich im Router-GUI die MAC-Adresse vom Stick eingeloggt sehe und auch die IP-Adresse die vom Router zugewiesen wurde. Wo ist also das Problem?

Du bist doch mit dem AP verbunden.

Und aus den paar hingeschmissenen Brocken kann ich nichts herauslesen, maximal, daß die Karte keine "richtige" IP sondern eine zeroconf-IP (169.254.x.y) bekommen hat.

Mehr Input, dann gibts auch mehr Output (siehe den entsprechenden Users4Users Thread zum Thema "Was poste ich bei welchem Problem").

sorry, bin neu... Ich hoffe mit den Daten kannst du was anfangen und das ich es nun richtig mache :-/

Wireless-N ohne WEP/WPA funktioniert, MIT WEP/WPA bekommt Adapter Zeroconfig obwohl im Router eingeloggt. Wireless-G über Onboard funktioniert mit und ohne WEP/WPA/WPA2AES...
